MS. CHARLI’

Creole Diva Of Southern Soul

Ms. Charli’ catapulted into the Southern Soul / Swing-Out / Zydeco arena back in 2004 and has been a non-stop rockin’ powerhouse ever since the debut release of her E.P. and hit single “Can We Talk About It”.

Her high-energy performances as well as her sultry Southern Creole spunkiness and grit guarantee not only a full dance floor, but good times to be had by all.  Ms. Charli’ has been quoted as saying that “… if she can make fans feel the liberation & freedom of music, she’s accomplished her goal in that musical moment!(1)

Her first release, “Giddy Up”, quickly became a Texas / Lousiana regional hit and is an often requested trail-ride anthem. Her efforts on Kenne’ Wayne’s “Ride It Like A Cowboy” – along with her own remix (“Giddy Up Zydeco“) – have secured a spot for her as a much-loved favorite among both Southern Soul and Zydeco fans.

Ms. Charli’s resume also includes appearances  alongside funk and soul legends Lakeside as well a 2011-2012 circuit tour with the Real Cowboy Association. She also holds the distinct honor of being the first female entertainer to participate in three back-to-back seasons of one of the largest trail-rides in the Texas and Louisiana region: The Step & Strut Riders’ Super Ride.

Her musical style and vocal abilities are such that she would be at home and completely at ease no matter the venue, be it at a concert hall, an elegant nightclub, a church’s choir on a slow Sunday morning, a “turnt up” house party, or a loud and crazy backyard family bbq.  You will know when Ms. Charli’ is on the scene because her vocal presence is substantial  … and it commands your attention instantly.

But don’t take my word for it … check out the links below and decide for yourself.  Ms. Charli’ – and her music – is well worth your time and effort.

 You’ll thank me later.
